Terms of use

1. The agreement and your account

These terms are an agreement between you and Adam Vaughan ("Nooly AI", "we") for using the Nooly AI website, apps and browser extension. By creating an account you accept them and the privacy policy.

  • You must be 18 or older and enrolled at, or studying with, a university or college.
  • Your account is personal. Keep your login safe, don't share it, and tell us at bloomstudy.support@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it.
  • Give us accurate details, and keep your email up to date so we can reach you about your account.

2. Your content and course materials

What's yours stays yours. You keep all rights in what you upload, write or sync. You give Nooly AI only the permission it needs to store, process and show that content back to you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in the privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete the content, apart from backups that expire on schedule.

Course materials belong to their owners. Lecture slides, readings and other course files belong to your lecturers, your university or publishers. You may add them to Nooly AI only for your own personal study, and only if you are allowed to access them. You must not use Nooly AI to share, publish or sell them. Nooly AI keeps them private to your account and never uses them to train AI models.

Your university's rules apply. Some universities and lecturers limit putting course materials into AI tools. You are responsible for checking and following the rules of your university and each course.

The Moodle extension. The extension syncs when you start a sync, or automatically about once an hour while Nooly AI is open unless you turn that off. It works inside your own logged-in session, and only reads what you can already see. You must not use it on an account that isn't yours.

Rights holders. If you believe content in Nooly AI infringes your rights, write to bloomstudy.support@gmail.com. We will remove it within 5 working days while we look into it.

3. Academic integrity and AI answers

Nooly AI is a coach, not a ghostwriter. It explains, quizzes and plans with you. Don't use it to produce work you hand in as your own where your course doesn't allow that. Each course's AI rules are set by your lecturer, and following them is your responsibility.

AI can be wrong. Answers, summaries, study plans and mastery scores are generated by AI and can be incomplete or incorrect, even when they cite your files. Check anything important against your course materials and your lecturers. Nooly AI is not a substitute for official course information such as deadlines and grades in Moodle.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • upload anything you have no right to access, or other people's personal information without their permission;
  • share, sell or publish course materials or AI output based on them;
  • break the law, your university's rules, or anyone's rights through Nooly AI;
  • try to reach other users' data, get around limits or security, or reverse-engineer Nooly AI;
  • use bots or scripts to access Nooly AI, or resell access to it;
  • use Nooly AI to cheat in exams or graded work.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Unless the breach is serious or urgent, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

5. The service

Nooly AI's own rights. Nooly AI's software, design and name belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them while your account is open.

Early version. Nooly AI is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may limit usage to keep costs and quality under control. We aim to keep Nooly AI available but don't promise it will always be.

Price. Nooly AI is free during the beta. Before we charge for anything, we will tell you the price in advance, and you choose whether to pay.

Ending. You can stop using Nooly AI and delete your account at any time. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, and you can ask us for a copy of your data before it closes. Sections 2, 6 and 7 keep applying after your account ends.

6. Liability

Nooly AI is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost grades or academic consequences, or decisions you make based on AI output. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or NIS 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

7. General

  • Law and courts. Israeli law governs these terms, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv have jurisdiction.
  • Changes. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you at least 14 days before. Continuing to use Nooly AI after that means you accept them; if you don't, you can delete your account.
